Utilizing the natural terrain spreading on the slope of Mt. Chausuyama, the zoo houses 78 species and over 700 animals within its vast ground of 15 hectares, including cute lesser pandas as well as the national special monument Japanese serows, all of which are raised freely and in a spacious environment. There is also the petting zoo section, where visitors can touch small animals such as rabbits. The zoo also offers various fascinating events, such as the one titled “Behind the Zoo Expedition.”
