Togakushi
A granary from the Edo period has been restored to hold and exhibit the traditional features of Togakushi and over 2,000 articles of daily necessaries that supported people’s lives. The garden also houses a water mill.
Also in the premises is the Togakure Ninja Museum, established in the all-zelkova private house of a wealthy farmer brought over from other place and reconstructed here. The facility exhibits 500 articles of Ninja tools and 200 photo panels explaining the school of Togakure and its practical skills, along with various other Ninja related documents. Another must-see is the Ninja Trick Mansion, where visitors can enjoy a game-feeling tour from the Ninja room, through the staircase and a maze to the inner room.
Shuriken (Ninja throwing knives) training hall is also available.
