Togakushi Bamboo Works Center

Traditional crafts of bamboo ware made with “Nemagaridake (literally, ‘bent root bamboo’) that grows in the hills and valleys of Togakushi, are filled with rustic warmth. From the daily necessaries such as baskets and strainer, on which Togakushi soba is commonly served, to made-to-order special products that are rich in design, vast varieties of products are created. In addition to exhibition of products, there are demonstration sections where visitors can view the work processes of the craft as well as bamboo craft experience classes.
