Shinonoi
It is a hot spring welling up on the highland at the foot of Mt. Chausuyama. Mt. Chausuyama is known as the historic location where Shingen Takeda placed his headquarters at the Battle of Kawanakajima. It is said that the Takeda Army utilized the hot spring to treat their wound and raise their spirit. Overlooking Zenkoji-daira (basin) and Sugawara Kogen in the basins of both Saigawa and Chikuma Rivers, visitors can indulge in the historic imaginations of the adventurous era of Warring States.The simple sulfur spring is smooth on the skin, and is said to have effect on gout and constipation when drunk. The cozy hotel Shosenkaku offers unique baths such as matchmaking bath and Jacuzzi.
