Nagano Tomyo Festival

The festival is comprised of "Zenkoji Dream Night-lights" which illuminate the buildings with 5 colors dedicated for peace as well as other large and small lights to pray for world peace.

The "Tomyo" is the aura lights offering to the gods.

The Nagano Tomyo Festival is the lighting event in winter and is held every year for sending the message of peace from the Nagano city where hosted the Winter Olympic games in 1998.
